Road Repair Keeps Construction Moving Forward

Construction work at Ariyo has depended not only on buildings and plans, but also on access. After heavy rain damaged the road leading to the site, transport of construction materials became difficult. In response, the Jesuits, contractor, engineers, and local government worked together to repair the affected sections and restore movement to the project area.

This story is important because it illustrates the practical partnerships behind Ariyo’s development. Infrastructure challenges in Bonga require resilience, collaboration, and shared effort. The road repair was not simply a technical intervention. It was a community response that protected progress and kept the project on course. Such collaboration reflects the wider network of people who continue to make Ariyo possible through commitment, problem-solving, and service.
